How long have you been in business?
I have been in business 39 years.
What is your primary product or service?
I handpaint original designs on porcelain--jewelry to glass lamps and also handpainted furniture, new and antique chairs. I also paint on tee shirts, sweatshirts and other wearables.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My Mother was an artist--We took a 15 week course to learn how to paint china and learn the brush strokes and then applied it to art principals that we already knew.I guess you would say that I have God-given abilities.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
By the colors I use and the way I fill my brush, using 3 and 4 colors at a time, using clear tones as opposed to greyed tones. I mostly paint roses, pansies, iris, poppies in a victorian style.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I am associated with GROWnebraska and am at Kearney Hilltop Mall GROW store, Grand Island Conestoga Mall GROW store, The Archway Gift Shop, Kearney, NE and Nebraska at the Market at 13th and Leavenworth in Omaha. GROW store during the Holidays at Westfields in Lincoln.

What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That they can see God's beautiful creation through my paintings. It looks just like my Grandmother's china.
